The Chemistry department offers courses for B.Sc. (Non-Med.), B.Sc. (Medical), and M.Sc. B.Sc. was started in 2011 and intake of students in 160 for B.Sc.(NM) and 80 for B.Sc.(Medical). M.Sc. Chemistry was started in 2016. There are 20 seats for M.Sc. Chemistry (two-year course) and have specialization in inorganic chemistry.

Separate labs for UG and PG are developed and maintained properties with the latest equipment and chemicals at present there are four faculty members who are well qualified and hardworking.
